Larry Conner

PRESIDENT & PUBLIC POLICY AND LEGISLATION

Larry Conner MA, LPC has been in practice in the Portland area since 1987 and in private practice since 1992. In 2009, he was the co-director of the Oregon Coalition for Consumer Mental Health Protection and Choice, the group that wrote and passed the practice act that has given LPCs and LMFTs the clinical standing they have long sought in Oregon. Larry provides mental health counseling to adults and couples. He specializes in treatment for long-term addiction recovery issues, sex addiction, and general mental health concerns. Larry also provides consultation and supervision to other therapists. He earned his Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Lewis and Clark College.

Doug Chapman

SECRETARY & TREASURER

Doug Chapman MA LPC MAC is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been working in the field for over 20 years. He graduated from Antioch University, Seattle in 1989. Doug is also a Master Addiction Counselor, NCC Approved Clinical Supervisor, Ethnic Minority Specialist, and Geriatric Specialist. Doug serves on several boards and committees concerning the mental health needs of sexual minorities. He is passionate about mentoring new clinicians in the field and has a private practice providing supervision for licensure for post-graduate interns. Doug has a great interest in the interconnections of spirituality and psychology. He is also a manager and clinical supervisor in a local community mental health agency.

Lynne Coon

MEMBERSHIP

Lynne Coon MS, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in community mental health and inpatient mental health treatment. She specializes in Adult ADD/ADHD; depression including Atypical (hard to treat) Depression and non-medication approaches; relationships/communication and self esteem. Her office is in downtown Portland, across from the Central library.

Susan Zall

NETWORKING

Susan Zall MA LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1999, has been in private practice in Portland since 2002. Her practice offers general mental health counseling to adults, couples (including pre-marital counseling) and adolescents. Susan also gives workshops on depression, anxiety and boundary issues.

Roy Huggins

Roy Huggins, MS, NCC is a counselor in private practice in Portland since 2010. He earned his MS in Counseling from Portland State University and also completed practitioner-level training in NLP. He has experience helping people with international adjustment and culture shock in Sapporo, Japan and in Portland. Roy works with international couples and individuals, Americans returning from abroad, adjustment shock, geeks, anxiety, social phobia, and people working through the effects of past trauma.

Lynne Nesbit, M.S., L.P.C., has been in private practice specializing in couples counseling and individual therapy, and has served on staff with Providence Portland Medical Center Adult Intensive Outpatient Services since 1995. She is founder and director of Wise Counsel & Comfort, a cooperative community of 90 private practice clinicians dedicated to providing affordable outpatient therapy throughout the Portland metropolitan area.

Sage Goto

OUTREACH

Sage Goto, MS LPC CGAC II is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice. Sage earned a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Portland State University and has worked in the field of mental health and addictions treatment for over 10 years. In his practice Sage enjoys helping people with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance and behavioral addictions as well as relationships where addictions and mental health issues are a stressor. Sage also has a history of working with agencies and the state of Oregon on serving diverse populations more effectively and enjoys helping people of minority status in his practice.

PUBLIC POLICY

Wendy Curtis, MA, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in community mental health and is currently in private practice. She graduated with her Masters in Counseling from George Fox University in 2006 and has worked with adolescents and adults with issues including depression, anxiety, addiction and recovery, life adjustments, grief and stress. She is also passionate about social justice and community organizing. Her office is adjacent to Multnomah Village in SW Portland.
